Pessini's Safety Cards is Carlos Pessini's private collection of airline safety cards, begun in the late 1990s. The collection now contains more than 9,000 cards from airlines around the world, including approximately 1,500 issued by Brazilian carriers. Created by a commercial pilot with a longstanding interest in aviation, the collection documents the changing graphic design, aircraft types, safety procedures and visual identities represented in this distinctive form of airline ephemera.
