by Nikolaus BiesenkampDE
Germany
Nikolaus Biesenkamp's Fruit Sticker Collection is a large private archive of adhesive labels used on fruit and vegetables around the world. The database contains more than 71,000 stickers from 116 countries, including over 65,000 different examples, and organises them by fruit type, origin and other characteristics. Alongside their practical role in identifying produce, the labels document decades of changing agricultural brands, exporters, graphic styles and international food distribution.
