Lobby Cards — Commedia all'italiana
by MatteoIT
Italy
This is my collection of Italian film lobby cards, known as fotobuste. There is no real collecting criterion behind it. The only rule is simple: if one of these films is on TV, I do not change the channel. Most of them are films I grew up with, especially Italian comedies from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. They are connected more to memories, familiarity and nostalgia than to any attempt to build a systematic or complete collection. They remind me of my childhood and of a kind of cinema I still watch with pleasure whenever I come across it.
